I agree with everything you said. Especially the "nasty" and "stupid".
And the writing shouldn't leave us this confused IMO.
I thought the demise of Crowley's character began when they introduced Mommy. I said at the time I hated that storyline.
The cast and crew seem to still be a happy family but with the problems being caused by Dabb, Singer and company, I'll bet the work environment isn't what it used to be. All supposition but based on anecdotal evidence.
And this makes me sad.
I have to wonder if a behind the scenes battle between Mark and the powers that be have made it difficult for the Js to say anything either way. You would think their wouldn't be a problem saying goodbye if they wanted to though. Very strange.
We might get more total Sam and Dean screen time in 6 episodes than we get now with 23.

I think I agree
I also suspect that he was not renewed as a regular. I think the conflict over which Mark is a regular helps show the direction of the show in 13. Mark S was associated with Dean and usually paired with Dean. Mark P is associated and more often paired with Sam.
Have to agree with you there. Wonder if it would be possible to get the CW to at least nominate him.
I got the impression from a comment in the comment section by a tvline person that Jensen may have won or been a runner up but wasn't given it because he was recognized last Feb. The tvline person didn't come out and say that but they did mention his recognition in Feb when a commenter said how much Jensen deserved the recognition. Just a thought.

I think we're stuck with Dabb too.
That makes a lot of sense. I would rather they would do a few mini seasons rather than SPN to just be gone. I do think the quality would probably (I hope) go up.
Are you talking about fourteen being the mini season?
But would Carver be willing to go from SPN/his other show(?) showrunner to reporting to Dabb? I have my doubts. I sure want something done about Dabb though and I would love for Singer to leave. I had understood he was responsible for cutting the purgatory storyline short along with other Dean storylines.
There isn't anything to give credence to this is there? I thought it was just wishful thinking.
I was fuming over that line. I have not enjoyed a lot of this season because the writers have forgotten who Dean Winchester is.
