I rewatched Fury Road immediately after watching this, and it's laughable how bad it is compared to Fury Road.
Dakota isn't ageing well. She looks 45 in her new film when she's only just turned 30.

I followed her on Instagram after I saw Palm Springs. She was very active at that point – with hundreds of posts, then she either deleted them all or closed the account and made a new one because there's only two posts on there now.

Maybe if you've seen it before and are introducing it to someone who hasn't, but watching something for the first time while tapping away on your phone/computer would surely break the immersion – especially if it's a foreign film with subtitles.

Absolutely! She elevates everything she's in. Zombieland: Double Tap, for example – that went from a 3 out of 10 to at least a 6 or 7 after her character showed up.
Buffaloed is another good example of her talent. She was charismatic as fuck with great comedic energy in that film.
It takes balls to go out in public looking like that.
