Season 2 was full of stupid meaningless plot elements that made no sense. Dying Q, singing Borg and cowboy Guinan !
There is so much confusion and plot holes in the story overall, add to that how they are ignoring events from previous seasons (especially the new Borg with their singing Queen) but I can't blame them the last 2 season were a train wreck.
There was not much explanation of Jack's original confrontation with the Borg Queen years ago or how the changelings ended up serving her ?
The whole fleet armada scenes were silly they could have at least found some explanation of how space dock survived all those torpedoes and phasers before going kapooom.
As for Kate Mulgrew there is talk online that she doesn't want to appear on screen as Janeway again.
Well it seems <spoiler>Q didn't die and somehow season 2 never happened !</spoiler>
Can you even blame them for whining ? 2 seasons were wasted !
Season 1 and 2 were so horrible that season 3 team decided to mob them under the rug while linking some minimal plot lines like synthetic Picard and his disease.
Overall a great season and ending for the TNG crew.
In Kurtzman-verse he's still alive. He appeared in the last episode of the previous dreadful season.
Thanks for the warning.
Man if they only make a Dracula in the modern world horror film, something close to what they tried to do with Dracula A.D. 1972 and The Satanic Rites of Dracula.
Sadly all the good writers are gone in Hollywood.
I was being sarcastic about it.
Yes I agree the with you Dracula + Minna (resurrected soul) love story was stupid but the film really takes the cinematic representation of Dracula to another level for something done in 90s.
Of course another downfall of this great film is the casting of Keanu Reeves as Johnathan.
I still prefer the Hammer films and planning to watch Dracula (1979) with Frank Langella
Actually the premise was very good it was explored before in Blade Runner.
What if robots became so perfect they were closer to self-awareness.
Unfortunately Westworld failed to express what exactly was the moral of the story with the robots considering some of them became more evil and deadly compared to humans and their original human hosts.
Agreed the show had a good chance of being great but after S1. It was a wild goose chase with writers not knowing crap about what comes next or what followups to the original plot and concepts.
Season 1 was a masterpiece but the rest is...BLEH !
The show fell apart after season one there was no real direction to where the story is going. They just kept viewers confused with what happened before what.
Do you think Rob Zombies "The Munsters" is light years better ?
I think it's idiotic, dude got a clubfoot ends up with foot-fetish I think it's just the showrunners avoiding more sex/nudity in the series compared to early GoT seasons.
Otto knows about Larys nightly visits but decides to ignore it, this is the same person who wants Rhaenyra and her family killed to make Aegon II transition to power a problem free one. Sadly this is the major weakness of this show's characters compared to early GoT seasons they seem to be naive and lost in direction.
<spoiler>Laenor will probably be involved with Aegon the Younger/Viserys II arc compared to the books where he's dead</spoiler>
Four seasons would be a miracle unless they keep time-skipping. I just hope HBO goes back to the yearly formula instead of the dreaded two year wait that started with GoT S7.
Don't think that was in the books, cool scene to create for the show but otherwise completely worthless.
Ser Larys is sick beyond imagination...killed his bro and daddy for his foot addiction ! They still didn't reveal if he was a greenseer or not considering he know so much.
I don't think so the plot was silly.
"Shpock...it's me your brother Shypok !"
They went to the typical 80s cartoon/TV formula...no one dies even if they'd been shot by a bazooka at close range.
House of the Dragon is probably not just the story of the "The Dance of Dragons" but also maybe what happens after with the Blackfyre Rebellion and other Targaryens.
With the way the time jumps are happening this show is 3 ~ 4 seasons max unless they take a major shift from the books.
As someone on twitter wrote "the film is like a porn parody without the sex".
Yeah the comedy was really bad...
