Yeah, fine. That is your opinion. You'd be hard pressed to find any person outside of raving fanboys that would call TDKR a masterpiece. Oh really, wow thanks man, that's deep? Yes, every film has exposition, but if its well written, it feels natural instead of clumsy like in Interstellar. Thought provoking? It belonged in a silly RomCom. It had no place in what was to be a hard Sci Fi Film. And STFU, you smug idiot, yeah, everyone who voices critique on a Nolan movie is a "hater" and can only appreciate stupid Star Wars movies. What are you, 12 years old? No use in talking to you, you're a pathetic fanboy who clearly has no knowledge of cinema. Why are Black Asgardians, the deities of Northern Europeans less outlandish than White people in an African nation? Please explain? And Greece is near Africa? Really? And the Black Amazons where clearly Sub Saharan, not North African, which is 1000s of Kilometers away from Greece. And please, the Internet explodes at everything with SJW witchhunts at even the most ridiculous smal things. Casting a White Wakandan would cause a Social Media meltdown. Why do I care? Because of a hypocritical double standard that is on display here. You yourself said "it takes place in Africa, so naturally all the people there are Black. But a story that takes place in Greece has half the cast being African for no reason, instead of casting people that look, you know, Greek. The worm hole scene was only one example I listed, the movie is full of expository dialogue with people explaining stuff to others who should already know that. The love transcends everything is a corny trope that is downright embarrassing in a hard Sci Fi flick. There's nothing to "get" there. You making this out to be some kind of genius plot point that is intellectually challenging is laughable. And Last Jedi? WTF? I don't give a crap about Star Wars, nice straw man again. You're coming across as a pathetic fan boy that just throws accusations and ad hominems at people who have a different opinion and desperately defending his beloved Director. I'm not a Nolan hater at all, I love his earlier work like Memento and the Prestige, found Batman begins enjoyable if somewhat flawed in the second half, TDK impressive, yet bogged down by some logical problems with characters and the plot, Inception fascinating, TDKR massively hampered by poor writing and plot holes and Inception visually impressive but thoroughly underwhelming on a story level. There you have it. You're really grasping at straws here, huh? A wristwatch is what in cinema is called a goof, a thing that happened accidentally. So you're telling me that casting loads of blacks as Greek amazons was accidental? And what I was trying to say is that there is a ridiculous double standard in film today. When casting for a fictional African nation it is of course logical that the inhabitants are Black Africans. But when casting for a fictional isolated ancient Greek island why is it A OK to cast black people for it? Now imagine if they indeed had cast a White person as a member of Wakanda with lip plate and spear and all? The internet would EXPLODE with outrage. But for Greeks it is ok, no it is lauded as Diversity, even though it is completely ridiculous. Also, let's say, in the next Black Panther they want to show a Wakanda deity in Human form. Again, this is an invented fantasy world, but lets say, they would cast a Nordic blonde man as this deity. Again, Internet would EXPLODE with accusations of racism. But when Nordic mythology is depicted in Thor, which despite being a comic book is based in Norse mythology, which is today an official religion in various Scandinavian countries, it is completely OK to cast a Black man as a Germanic deity and populate Asgard with random Africans. Yes, it would be completely ridiculous to cast Whites as African tribes man, just as it is to cast Blacks as Greek amazons or Nordic deities. The problem is that one is completely acknowledged and the other one is lauded as progressive. How is it more absurd than a remote isolated Greek island having Subs-Saharan Africans for no reason? It's not just 30 seconds it's what the whole movie built up to! You said so yourself in your second paragraph, moron! Also, I brought up other flaws, like the clumsy expository dialogue. How can the theme of love transcending time and space have went over my head, if I brought up the very thing in my post? Are you a complete imbecile? And what does land on the moon have to do with anything??? Ha, awesome! Und schwarzer Panther saugt. I leave it at that! ;) Und wo kommst du her? Gr8, m8! Let's put another shrimp on the barbie! Austrian. The awesomeness of BvS is best consumed in small increments. You watched it yesterday and aren't at this part yet? You're surely streching this thing out, huh? Black Panther would have benefited if both Killmongers and Black Panthers moms name was Marhta. Right, it has a lot of things. Like...an ALL BLACK CAST...and IT HAD AN ALL BLACK CAST...and...RHINOS!!! Agreed, the only thing that comes close is the buffalo stampede in Glen or Glenda. Granted, it was no plate armoured rhinos, but given the limitations of the time it was quite impressive. But why does setting it in Africa have all people be Black? Why not have some White people with plates in their lips? I mean Wonder Woman was supposed to be set in Greece and yet half the Amazon's where black and running around in Greek armour. Thor is supposed to be Norse mythology and yet there are random Black people in Asgard dressed in Medieval garb, looking ridiculous. The special effects ranged from OK to really bad, especially the green screen and some of the CGI. How that warrants an Oscar nomination is anyone's guess. Right, can you imagine Lawrence charging on a Rhino into battle instead of a camel? Huge miss from Lean, but then again he was no Coogler. His compositions weren't as riveting as Cooglers incredibly phony...I mean real green screen backdrops. Black Panther will continue to amaze with its complex characters and riveting dialogue and of course the best use of armour plated rhinos in cinema history. What? Of course Wr landed in the moon, idiot. Nice straw man. Interstellar had clumsy expository dialogue. Cooper explaining the Black Hole is even lifted from Event Horizon, talk about quality. The ending was incredibly cheesy. Love transcends space and time, what? This is supposed to be a Hard Science film?
