I’m glad to get a chance to hear about him and I hope that it brings you joy to talk about what a great man he was.
When I think about the people that I have loved that are gone now and am stuck in the grief of losing them, I like to think of a great Dr. Seuss quote that went something like “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.”
Although I think it’s healthy to grieve, it’s a gift that we had the time we did with them and I hope that I will be the kind of person that people miss as well.
