1/3 dull, 1/3 stupid, 1/3 CGI
I watched this while BB was putting speakers in my car today. What I noticed was that in the UHD of the movie screen everyone's skin looked real bad. The moles and stuff kept taking me out of the story... I kept wondering if it was cancer.
it's part of the facts of life that different strokes will kill you.
She was winter and the lion was spring. They were part of the same cycle. That was until he worked out the deeper story in the other books.
Sci-Fi fans are like children, in that we always ask "WHY?". This show spent two seasons building up and we lost interest along the way. Now that there is a pay off its too late. This is not the first time this has happened. I feel a show like this needs to have a major reveal every 2 or 3 eps.
Didn't help PapaJohn.
If the virus was in the water, it is in everything.
End of the world and they killed their own mom 5 minutes in.
Yep.. its pretty good the first time around.
Good for the Rock, I just didn't like it very much myself.
Did Rampage make any money? I just saw it and it was pretty dumb.
My high school you could eat at the middle tables but only a brown bag lunch. The library was open all day and during lunch and an hour before and after school. The old lady who ran it was like a military drill instructor and she would mess you up bad if you messed with her rules or the books. This was in the late 1980s when your parents could sign a paper saying the school could whip your butt (and mine did).
The property damage alone would prevent the idea of the purge.
INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY, is only in criminal court. No where else is that applied, not in civil court and not in employment and not in everyday life. Don't get me wrong, this guy is getting fucked, but in his line of work all he has is his perceived value to bring in revenue for the media company he is working for. He is now tainted and his employers feel there is someone good enough to replace him and fix the possible dent in the revenue stream. Chris Hardwick doesn't own the production company nor did he bring any skills to the job other then talking. It took AMC and the production company only a few hours to decide a plan of action to eliminate the problem.
Take the CEO of Papa Johns as example. He owns 30% of the stock, was President and chairman of the board. The first remark about the NFL players caused a media nightmare that lowered per store sales so the board took away control of the day to day operations. The N bomb leak made the board fire him as chairman and marketing icon. All this was done to head off a drop in sales.
The NBA forced an owner to sell his team for the simple reason he could have hurt sales due to his actions and words.
Hollywood is all about Q ratings and revenue return. Simply put to clear his name in public would cost the production company more then what he was worth. They went with a full PC solution, replace the tainted white man with a colored woman and I am guessing at a lower rate of pay.
Would have been a lot better if the original kidnapping was done by the woman cop trying to get ahead and framing the girls.
I am holding out for Gorf, with the 80s voice "ha ha space cadet"...
The media has obituaries already written for almost everyone famous. All they do is update them and release them. The show runners had contact with the family and they knew the old man was on a slow slide to death for years. They had the rough clip list already setup and only had to edit the library and add in some interviews. Chances are they have a clip list for all of them just in case.
Get off my lawn you damn kids, Ill stab you to death!
Solo was getting bashed in production. When they said they had to send the main actor to acting school it was pretty much a done deal that the movie was going to be pretty bad.
In the real world Paige and Henry are SOL, as they are not Americans. Both of their parents are considered Russian diplomats even if they are unregistered. The born in the USA makes you a citizen does not apply to them.
Paige would face five to ten years just knowing her parents were spies and not turning them in. If they linked her to their work she would face life. If they linked her to the death of the general she would face death.
The US Federal government would never let it go. They would dedicate investigators to researching the Jennings for years. They would link them to Chicago and the deaths of agents.
The Feds would try to use a long sentence for Paige to force the parents to return. The Russians would deal with the loose ends by locking down or killing the parents.
