lol come on. carnivale got stale. i dont think i've ever disagreed with an executive decision to cancel a show before. those shows were always going downhill and they probably saw what next season's script was gonna be.

skavau, stop it. no gay show is ever gonna be popular. there simply isnt enough gay people to watch it to make it popular. homosexuality just grosses out straight people. it literally has to otherwise they'll be gay too and the genetic line ends. brokeback was an exception. as for "critics," they're all woke trash nowadays. only an idiot gives two shits about critics' opinions.

now that you mentioned that, i think i did see that. i skipped around a lot in this show because there was tons of boring woke shit. i just watched a clip on youtube and now i remember. they had a whole episode on those two gay guys. i skipped around a lot waiting for that story to pass but it lasted the whole episode.

havent seen it in a while but there's basically only one man in the show who isnt a villain and it's joel. off the top of my head, joel's friend is some resistance boss. the other resistance boss that attacks them later is also a woman.

i really liked succession but it was only a stellar show in season 1-2. it was only watchable later. however, succession was developed years ago and that's why it's still good into this era. none of the shows coming out in 2024 are of the same caliber.
