Correct in the issue of her crimes happening before. In order to stop their loop they need to not get in the car with the strangers. The rock band chicks crime was Alex dying because the rock band chick decided to sleep with a stranger and go with him instead of not letting her friend leave. That's why their car broke down. Two fo the girls wanted just leave with strangers but the rock band girl wanted to stay with the van. The opposite of what happened with Alex. Her friends represent Alex. She simply needed to stop them from leaving and to add to it with strangers like the rock band girl did that night when Alex died. Alex probably died in accident much like the rock band girl did in her segment. If she convinces her friends to stay with the broken down van then they might get saved or maybe have to do one more thing to get out. Her friends are guilty of accusing her.
Troy didn't have a mother who loved him, Nick was a screw up and a mother that overly loved him. Nick didn't have a real dad though Travis tried but he also had Chris. This is wonderful where this is going. Madison is going to keep pushing Troy and he is getting the mother he never had and Nick is going to get the dad he wanted. It will end not well but I hope Troy is around for a long time. I like him. I also really like Jeremiah. He is Fear's Herschal. Another stellar episode.
This season has been really excellent so far. Way better than the first two seasons. It may pick up steam once people hear it's gotten better.
Penguin Shit
Alexandria had at least a few people that would venture out. It just seems like this wasn't the first time for them. They travelled from ranch to base base to ranch..etc.. Their whole conversation about keeping watch wouldn't make sense. They made it like they have done this before. Perhaps you are right. Maybe she spent her whole time just flying a chopper.
Agreed. Was she supposed to be military? If so then she was trained poorly. It's one thing about taking a few steps out but she went pretty far in the dark with zombies and where people could be there, like the same people that shot them down!
I like him just dating. I am fine with him being with Lexie for awhile but Axel is great being single and dating. I can see him in his late 30's or 40's being that guy who is still single with many flings and girlfriends. Won't settle and drunk calls his friends at midnight to come party. Though I can also seem him being a successful businessman because he has charm, wit, and dedication when he wants it. Axel has so much potential other paths too.
HA! If I wasn't already taken and if you had me watch this as a first date movie then I would be forever love.
Bullshit!
Agreed.
Some of the most funny things weren't even said.
The fake money.
The hotdog vendor who lives out an RV parked in the city. Where does he put his cart? Not to mention he takes a dump and opens up the wide back window while he does so.
The fake money that Big Ronnie takes out of his buttcrack.
The dancing scene which was funny enough but the old man behind Big Ronnie that just stares at his butt then starts dancing behind him.
I can keep going.
Favorite quotes, several have already been said but here are a few that were missed unless I missed them. I still have way more!
When Janet asks Brayden his name and she says it in that german accent "Brayden, Is that Scottish?"
It looked like a big brown finger and it was pointing at me.
Let's have phone sex real quick.
It's in the near future where revenge is outlawed but there is a company you can hire that will do the revenge for you.
Big Ronnie is going dip his dog all the way in.
Also the sunglasses and the different clothes. Everyone wears the same thing except for event changes. Big Ronnie who changes clothes 4 times. He changes his for his day outfit, his disco evening outfit, his day outfit, and his disco tour outfit. Big Brayden changes his clothes 2 times. Disco tour and everyday clothes. If I am not mistaken they never change underwear! HA!
I watched this movie for the first time last Friday and have watched 5 times since. I haven't watched a movie that many times in a row since when Dead and Breakfast came out.
I would love for Michael St. Michaels to be Billy Bob Thornton's dad in a movie. It's perfect.
It didn't eat Hooper because he escaped to the seabed and was able to hide after the cage got busted. The shark couldn't find him and then just started focusing on the boat again because that became the easier target. The mechanical shark is called Bruce but the shark in the itself movie didn't have a name.
It wouldn't be allowed by today's standards anyway. Though I would like to see someone make a Dahl book in all the darkness for adults. It would probably be more disturbing than any horror movie. Dahl had a very brillant but distubed imagination. That's what made his books so great!
It's the old comedy trick of the more you repeat it the more funny it becomes. Some of the jokes wouldn't have been that funny if they didn't keep repeating it to the point of it just starts making you laugh then you start stay saying them as musicbymartin said to become catchphrases. Plus there was the whole disco thing. Most disco songs just repeat and repeat the same line over and over again along with the music more than any other type of music. I think that was a added hidden joke.
All I kept thinking too is this is just like a Tim and Eric sketch but with added John Waters and a bit of Troma in the mix. Great movie though! I just watched it last night and couldn't stop laughing.
The charcters are Tim and Eric characters and when I first saw the trailer I thought it was a Tim and Eric written movie.
Edit: It's also a lot like Napoleon Dynamite but ND is like a PBS show for toddlers.
I thought they whole phrase Greasy Strangler had a lot of different meanings from the sexual aspect, family aspect of strangling the life out of each other, Greasy as in slippery to each other, the other reasons that you had mentioned except Grease the movie, etc.. there are a ton of ways to take the title. John Travolta was mentioned because he was huge in disco because of Saturday Night Fever.
BFG is one of my favorite children's books. I finally got around to watching the movie. I really enjoyed it compared to A LOT of children's movies these day that base their whole story lines off of crude jokes. It was it was a nice change even if they had the fart in there but that was in the book. It is based more on just being in a fantasy as opposed to be being let's just make you laugh and do antics through the whole film. That's why it worked for me. I do wish he would have stuck closer to the source material. The other Giants were were horrifying in the book along with when the BFG explains that when someone picks a flower he can hear it screaming as it's arm is being twisted off or something to that effect. I think of that everytime something gets picked. The book has some really grim aspects that make you really think. This did an okay job with the material and I wasn't bored. I liked it and appreciated the effort but again, should have stayed a bit closer to the book. Maybe Speilberg didn't want to traumatize kids though the added boy with the red jacket was grim and the end was more sad along with happy but the book has one great joke toward the end with some drunks that they completely missed out on. I won't spoil it for anyone but it was great!
I am thinking it's Gregory also. Does Eugene even know about the uprising? If I recall correctly, Eugene was taken before the fact when Rosita was all about make me a bullit.
