On my first viewing of Season 2 I felt the same way as you ‘exatera’ but after a rewatch of both Seasons just recently, I enjoyed it way more the second time around. I remember absolutely hating all the ‘Luddite’ storyline on my first viewing and this time around it’s seemed to not drag on so much or be so annoying to me. And I totally agree, they really seemed to skip a lot of stuff between episodes 6 and 7. That part doesn’t become any clearer with a second viewing imo! They definitely must have had to rush the storyline due to being 3 episodes less for the season. Still, I can’t wait for Season 3! Does anyone have any info on when it might be coming out? IMDB seems to be really light on information about the timeline the last time I looked. I’m pretty sure all the hundreds of people listed in the end credits, (besides the people who worked on the movie) are all the names of the people who crowdfunded the movie through indigogo. On IMDB it says they were trying to get $200,000 to make the movie and they ended up raising $1,700,000. I think there’s a sequel coming out too which I will happily watch as I enjoyed this one and was blown away to see how little it was made on. ***SPOILERS BELOW!*** I didn’t mind this movie at all to be honest. I enjoyed the backstory even though as you say it was all very predictable and I also thought the special effects were pretty good too. The Director/Chairman character was absolutely bonkers with his complete lack of impulse control but I found the Chief/Daughter and her absolute calm and tranquility to be utterly mesmerising to watch on the screen. Her face was a masterpiece of stillness and I was sad to see at the beginning of the end credits that the movie was dedicated to her because she had died in real life. I believe it was her last role and it is more than a little ironic given she played a character in this movie with a terminal illness. I'm on Season 3 now and have to agree - the 'case of the week' formula is way better than the previous 2 seasons. Sometimes a little brainless tv is what is needed and this show has certainly been that for me - lots of pretty people in preposterous situations who always save the day. No deep thought required. **SPOILERS** I just watched it as Netflix played it and for me it was: Black Yellow Green Violet Blue Orange Red Pink White I was frustrated at the end of the watch, especially with how many <spoiler>didn't survive<|spoiler> but looking back now feel like they were all pretty horrible people who probably didn't deserve much more. I was happy that the daughter ended up with the bonds/money though and I had worked that part out when her Sister got a job in her office and they were discussing 'stacking the FEDEX boxes up high'. But I never saw the killing of the FBI agent coming, nor poor RJ's demise and tbh, I had kind of hoped he'd double-crossed them all and gotten away with the lot just because they had all treated him pretty poorly and he was always kind of unassuming. Yeah I have no clue why but they seem to be dressing Mindy almost like a Drag queen this season. It's so OTT. I enjoyed this season more than the last one and I agree, the veteran actors in this were terrific, especially the characters Luka (James Cosmo) and Petr (Peter Guinness). They did a better job this season of not making Ryan engage in too much unbelievable ‘action hero shenanigans’ although I think he would be just a bit more credible if we saw him crunching data/leads every now and again so we wouldn’t have to always take it on faith that he’s the brightest mind in the CIA yet seemingly never backed by his superiors, but I’m only nit-picking here. I liked seeing Ryan team up with James Greer and Mike November again and hope we see the trio in future episodes. Yeah I don't want to be horrible but it's like whomever is dressing her on the show, actively hates her. I've just started Season 3 and in Episode 1 her styling makes her look like a cross between Christmas Beetle & a Praying Mantis....with some bangs trauma thrown in for good measure. I love what Sylvie and Camille wear however so I can't work out why they make the lead actress look so bad unless they are going for the whole 'gauche American' angle maybe? If you liked all those shows, which I did too, I highly recommend 'Condor' if you've not seen it? The first season is terrific imo. I enjoyed it too. It’s a very easy show to binge watch because it’s so well paced. I have to admit I didn’t recognise Laura Haddock who played Max - she is quite the chameleon actress. I’ll be up for another season if it gets renewed. Me too! I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. I like how much Thor has evolved since the first one. And I have to admit, I'd never considered what the title actually meant so it was a nice reveal to me when I realised that 'Love' was a person. I've already watched this one 3 times as it's so much fun - although I have skipped through the first few mins where Gorr and his daughter are in the desert as I don't need to see that harrowing part more than once. I'm excited for this one. It looks a bit more spy thriller to me although that might just because you can see parts of it are filmed in the U.K so it has a certain 'look'. Either way, I can't wait to see it. Totally agree with you FilmBoy. Season One of Condor is a cracker and Brendan Fraser is equal parts creepy, pathetic and yet oh so riveting in it. Was a very different role for him but I loved it. Well it looks like you were onto something here TandyMan! It’s taken 4 years but I hope you are right about the awards heading his way. I love this movie and this site! I don’t post very often but I come here at least once or twice a week just to see what others are posting about after I have watched a new show or movie. So far out of about 244 posts I’ve only had one negative interaction so I believe I’ve been extraordinarily lucky. I do see some awful comments on here and often you can tell just by the actor that’s trending that people are just ‘piling on the hate’ but I simply just don’t engage. There’s still some of us old IMDB users on here, many who still love to ask questions and bounce ideas off. Don’t give up hope! This episode was pure joy, fascination and wonderment for me from start to finish. I have no great love of animation but I thought that part of the episode was superbly well done - the cats and their mannerisms were brilliantly depicted. And I enjoyed the second story too. The actor who played the tortured and rapacious writer was really well cast I thought. I have to admit, I was a bit on the fence with this series but now I can't wait for more episodes- animated ones or not. I truly thought these 2 stories were perfect. Ha, ha - so true. Whilst others on here have said they think the last 10 mins is lacking, I remember being blown away when I first watched this (way) back in 1998 or so. I still love the scene where all the ‘extras’ are in the staff cafeteria and of course the big finish with the glass ceiling/ party reveal. I agree. David Fincher has a real way of evoking the mood of a film with his opening sequences, many of which are purely done with visual montages and atmospheric music. I love this film and have watched it many times. Michael Douglas is so good in this one.
