The best episode so far - very together. Well, in the real world Heartless Capitalism or whatever this Mister World represented would have been an elder god and the Tech boy would be serving the hydra of Political Correctness and the many-faced phantom of Social Justice. Not to mention the ever changing Today's Truth. Because the public unfairly found out the truth about her. 1. According to the Prophet's official biography he was IS and Al-Qaeda after 621AD 2. Most "Islamic advancements" were works of the conquered nations and slowly disappeared as the locals were converted. There were a few exceptions - usually related to some lapses in the strict obedience of Islamic laws and they always ended the same way: the true Muslims would come and slaughter the unworthy. You need to look at it from another angle. The System was in a state of status quo until the protomolecule became a catalyst of change. So there's going to be a lot about politics and fractions and all but at every stage the protomolecule's evolution will dictate the pace and the playing field. So we do need to see it in action... Let's say: I expected more from Brian Fuller. Best thing about the show so far. It was better, yes. With a notable exception of the Belter politics (which are actually more interesting than in the books) every time the writers depart from the "cannon" I stop understanding the characters. Maybe partially. Unlike some characters in Rogue 1 he moved too naturally to be fully CGI. Physical effects still rule... I disagree. It feels like there is more to it. "Normal teenagers" overcome these issues. Thy bounce back. Making bad decisions when drunk - that what's makes you partially responsible. But she was practically unconscious and couldn't make a decision, even a stupid one. Rape is but having a nervous breakdown after being hailed as the "best butt in class" or exploding when kissing the boy of your dreams certainly points to some physiological issues. Actually it's pretty clear that Hannah is not in full control of her emotions. If only her parents weren't so distracted by their financial problems I think they'd have noticed it. A good therapist and a some medications would have prevented her death (and, as it seems, not just hers). The first episode was kind of disappointing... Meh... I'm on episode 8 and so far this is like a snowflake generation necrologue... Every time an episode comes out I feel kind of reluctant to watch because I know she's gonna be be in it. This actress ruined one of my most favorite characters in the books. Oh please as if that's the only reason. I didn't like Luke Cage because this particular side of black American culture is as alien to me as social life of penguins. Iron Fist was simply bad - 10+ wasted hours of my life. Pretty much everything is bad in this show...
