It was an awful series in my opinion. Very frustrating for the viewer..And the ending was ridiculous.. after all that and she lets him go. Lame AF I regretted watching. Shame too since the actors were great..Script sucked. It sucked. My first time too and its 2023! Fabulous actors and totally believable but I was bummed out the entire day today. Very sad and emotional. The frustrations of the two men were palatable..Very intense. I first thought they were actors with true disabilities thats how good they were. God bless anyone with such struggles. I commented here 3 years ago but finally I think you stated the right answer on this. sorry I just saw ur reply today.. I think u are right,,she wanted to anger him to get punished. Although Tate told her to leave for a week, and to stay at a hotel...Maybe it was Tate or the black man that killed him, but since Tate found the necklace in the book with his drawn photo I think its her that killed him. The movie was along the lines of a lifetime movie for me..Not deep enough and the dialogue was weak. my lord you boys need to chill out even though you were here five years ago, lol. I can watch joaquin in anything..Hes a brilliant actor.. having said that I was disappointed in the film. It didnt capture me. It didnt make me sad, happy, fearful, introspective.. it didnt do much..But i was riveted with is acting. He is truly a gem of an actor. His facial expressions, his body movements,,everything. If anyone else was inb this role, I wouldnt have finished the film. I found the film beautifully portrayed in the scenes, clothing, hairstyles etc... But for me it was painfully slow and did not give me enough to invest in anyone but Irene I actually did not like the 2 escorts role in the series. They took up way too much of time. yesssss lol Did you see the final season? I did but dont want to spoil. totally agree And when the weapon was found that should have been it. Plus they showed the bloodied shirt and yet still it wasnt enough. And the big helicopter chase at the end just didnt fit. It was like the obligatory chase scene to appease an audience. I thought that part was lame. I kept thinking if it isnt the blonde, then they wasted alot of airtime on her. i agree with all you said The constant jumps through time would have been better if more was spent on the latter years as well. It fell short after the death of her ill boyfriend. I would have liked to have known more of what became of her other than her success as a profound writer. I love your recap.. I came here for more insight and you delivered.
