All of the above, but I want to add a pre code movie: I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang with Paul Muni in the main role. Amazing movie1
I haven't checked myself, but apparently Jesus is mentioned by Coran (spelling?)/muslim holly book. Of course, muslims don't considered him God, but a messiah, like Mahomed.
I think either Irene Papas or Sofia Loren would have done a better job, at least would have the look more close to real Cleopatra. Cleopatra should not have blue eyes and she need stronger features.
They are shown doing eggs, mushrooms, so they didn't eat only grass.
Did you learn that at medical school? There is not such think as to link meat to cancers or stroke. That would mean that Islanders or Inuit people die all from cancers and stroke.
I am an MD and I can tell you there is no study that links cancer or stroke with meat. Obesity is liked to diabetes, heart disease. But obesity is mostly the result of carbohydrate abuse. Genetics is also a big factor.
I fully agree. I wouldn't be so kind so 6/10 is what I consider. No character development, most the roles were quite flat. The actors were great, but the movie lacked something. And the ending...I did not like it. The guy was almost killed by KuKlu-slum, but he managed to reach Germany. Also, he obviously didn't speak German, so how did he establish such a good relationship with a German girl, during war. Afterwards, no tongue, no words, easy
I assumed that shows she still cared about him, and acknowledge he was her husband.
I agree that Singing in the rain is much better than An American in Paris.
I watched it this evening on TCM and there were no subtitles. I understand Italian, but my basic German doesn't always help me. Still I found the Italian non essential. The main theme was that those Italians watching over the bridge hated the Nazi Germans. And the train mechanics said that he wanted to help the guys in the train as they were not German.
I was shocked they had to rely on illegal abortion. I thought US was "liberal" world. I know some communist countries have made abortion illegal, but US? Common?
