Where did the extension go?
Fox news is the only channel you should watch Donny. Back to golf!
Mine's obvious. Even the number means nothing. Alas, I am not a creative person.
Just a curious observation....Cathal/Markoff never uses a period. Not a single post in the other thread (where he posted as Markoff) has a period, and just the first post here has one period.
Same here!! :D
Gosh, I need to change my username. I chose the most generic one I could think of. Big mistake.
OK. I have decided to go the Col Needham way.... I will compromise my integrity and side with the devil (for now). I will use and promote this extension. It's not a question of convenience for me. But this extension will help the individual boards tremendously.
I don't want to be making a post on an individual board and waiting for years for people to reply. I want people to be actively using the individual boards.
What could we do to popularize this??
Hahahahahahahaha. Funny!!! LOL.
IMDb knows about this board. And they cannot prevent third parties from making scripts like these. This is very common practice. In fact, IMDb will want people to adopt this feature. So people who want to see the message boards will install the extension and see them and keep visiting their site and the naive user will not see the boards (which will keep their subscribers happy). Works perfectly for them. I just don't know whether I should give that selfish management (IMDb) my time.
Haha yeah. I was on that board and site for 16 years. That daily poll used be extremely popular and ran for many years. Movie of the day too. "Born this day" was a great feature. They used to used to have "Ask the director" and other such columns too. It used to be a great site for film nerds until commerce sucked the life out of it.
I am torn! I do not want to ever visit that tyrannical site again because I have nothing but spite for it. But this feature not only makes things super convenient (the board it seems appears exactly where it used to before : at the bottom of every page) and will also make this more board more popular.
Ack, I don't know what to do! What are you guys planning on?
Yeah me too. Force of habit. But I close the page the second I open it.
Agreed.
Babestation is not a troll I think.
Relax people! He is a troll from tmdb who wants to make life difficult for Jim. That's all.
See the link below. He is Markoff.

Let Jim deal with him as he sees fit and let him go back to Tmdb for the time being.

I'm an RT junkie. I go strictly by their numbers and never relied on IMDb ratings. But many people still use the IMDb ratings. I would not think that it's a great idea to use too much of their data though.
I am no copyright expert but I have taken courses on it and even taught it on occasion. UGC is murky territory, but whatever the case, I don't think Imdb will sue this site in the short term, because they've got their head up their own ass, and don't give a damn about what we do with old messages. We get them no money, and they are happy with whatever keeps us quiet (for now). But detailed rating information might be pushing it possible far, as you don't want to play with fire. I am sure Jim will know what to do.
Yup exactly. IMDbpro subscribers are the only ones they cared for.
We are deportees in search of a homeland....
Hahahahahahahaha. Thanks for the laugh.
