OP, did you even pay attention when watching the show. Go back and watch the very last episode, when Walt finally admits the truth to Skyler, that he did it all for himself because he liked it, NOT to survive and protect his family. Walt might have "initially" started out with "noble" intentions, the good guy, but he ended up "Breaking Bad", thus the title of the show I agree with what you wrote Blah blah yourself dude. I take it you are part of the problem? why so many crap movies get released today? Consensus opinion is that The Devil Wears Prada is the superior film, it received and won numerous awards (Academy, Golden Globes and BAFTA), and if nothing else had a single great performance from Meryl Streep. The Intern is pablum for the masses. Fair enough, Meet The Parents was a very funny entertaining movie, no problem there. For me, The Intern was dreadfully unfunny, not a single laugh in the entire film. The fact that this dull sugary sweet film has a higher score than the vastly superior "The Devil Wears Prada" (also starring Anne Hathaway), speaks volume for the tastes of today's movie audiences, and where the first rule of film making for the masses, seems to be: DO NOT OFFEND ANYONE! Because DeNiro has gone from being one of the greatest actors of all time starring in some of the greatest movies of all time, to being just another run of the mill, pay check actor starring in dreck movies, that are essentially pablum for the masses. He is a terrific actor. One of the best actors working today, and deserves better roles. Laurence Olivier for the 26 episodes of the World At War series. The greatest narration ever. I made it through to the end, hoping it would get better, but it was a tedious bore fest from beginning to end. I agree, not only Sandra and Cate, but none of the actresses had any chemistry with each other. A paint by numbers heist movie that committed the number one "cardinal sin" of any popcorn movie, namely being dull. Popcorn films should be fun, unfortunately O8 is not, it suffers from a problem shared by far too many films of recent years, namely being dull and forgettable. Having said that, O12 was also a dull tedious mess. View all replies >
