Never heard of them until this movie.
"Mexico will pay for the wall"
I'm not 'anti-Trump'. I just think he's in way over his head. And the person you are describing is not one of my own so why should I defend her or him or whatever? On the other hand, I'm not going to get all bent out of shape about it. I won't call you a snowflake for letting it get to you for that would be childish on my part. I go about my life knowing that what a person thinks about him/her/other/etc self has no bearing on me or how I feel about myself.
Aber, Ich bin nicht deine Bruder.
This (OP) is why IMDB ended their forums. Instead of offering any thoughtful commentary about the movie, Mr Satan2016 spouts a cookie cutter Fox News inspired diatribe against Hollywood.
Thandi Moore was awful as Condi Rice.
Thanks for the very detailed and insightful review. You don't see that very much these days.
I"m not reading all of that.

"... to get iconic parts in films that he might not have got if his name was Robert Smith?"
That's true. He'd probably be the singer in a band called The Cure or something like that.
Now we know the real reason IMDB ended their discussion forums.
"why then was it so important to get the 12th man?"
It appeared to be a combination of the strict nazi protocol and one of the officer's need to have a perfect record on such a protocol. One of the commanders threatened one of the officers with reporting to Berlin him for not wanting to search for the guy. So it appears they were afraid of Berlin sending them to the Eastern Front for not following protocol. Something like that.
I think you can easily do this at any casino but the only option they have in TX are Indian casinos. If they were in Nevada they wouldn't have specified "Indian". I don't know Texans call them "Indian casino" or not. Here in Wisconsin, they are known by their tribal names. "Hey George, you going up to da Ho Chunk tonight, ya hey der?"
You walk in with a load of marked bills. Exchange the cash for chips. Place a few bets. Cash in your chips. Walk out with a load of unmarked bills. I'd also suggest wearing a disguise. Fake mustachio, bad hairpiece, monocle, fake scar, something along those lines.
20. A guy can look at a wall that has hundreds of photos and pick out the one with his daughter in three seconds.
21. If you are staying in your kidnapped daughters room that has two beds, make sure to sleep in the most uncomfortable chair you can find.
22. In Syrian hotels, the front desk clerk will call you by the city you are from rather than your name ("Mr Toronto!")
23. In the same hotel, the desk clerk will give a passport and room key to a stranger just for asking, without asking for proper ID.
24. Good scotch is hard to find.
25. When running from the police, you will conveniently find a trunk open with a shiny new tire iron.

I've been listening to music since I was a young kid in the late 60s so I have a bit of experience and I can tell you that pop music today is just as bad or just as good as it was in any era. I've been listening to indie/college/alternative/left of the dial, whatever you want to call it since the early 80s. I know where to find good music and its not limited to what I like. There is also good music in other formats, even in some places you would never think of like 1960s French Chanteuse or 1980s German Neue Deutsche Welle. I can also appreciate some good pop songs over the years, including new ones. Its better to be open to listening to a variety than to dismiss at hand any particular format because of who listens to it. Remember, a lot of teen girls bought a lot of Sinatra, Elvis, Buddy Holly, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, new wave, and punk music. There's a lot of good music today and like you said you have to know where to find it. Some of its even very popular.
And this is one reason why IMDB discontinued their discussion forums.
I would agree. My judgement was clouded as I didn't know he was in the movie and didn't notice any 'bad acting'. Given that, I would say he did a decent job.
"I don't keep up on whatever pop-douche "star" is currently a new star in the worthless world of hit music."
Ok, maestro, whatever. Hit radio is aimed at younger kids, so there is nothing wrong with the music they listen to. If you don't like it, don't listen. Hit that little thing called the tuning knob. But please, indulge us adults as to what the correct music is that we should be listening to.
