You don't come across as a good person, calling others "losers" and "libtards." I follow Jesus, and Trump is everything Jesus is not. That is important to me. Very important. I want him to succeed when he attempts to do good things, and I want him to fail when he attempts to do bad things. If he takes away social security, or raises the age, would you want him to succeed? I don't. People rely on it to live. My place in life, and afterwards, is secured. Maybe you need to learn your place?
Under the circumstances? When you're the winner, you can usually afford to be a decent person. Gracious, kind... you know, that sort of thing. Just because you were fooled by a misinformation campaign does not make you superior.
No, but it would be good if he represented some of the values Jesus talked about and exhibited.
You won't get a single person to "unite" using that type of messaging.
Furthermore, as someone who is trying to follow Jesus, I cannot "unite" behind Donald Trump. He is everything Jesus was not.
Yes, I think you nailed it. You can tell from the sheriff's reaction to being lied to. He just... accepted it.
I agree. I loved this movie. Can't find anything else out there that gives me this "feeling" that is hard to describe.
I think she'll be fine, just as I think the world will continue on if Trump wins. I do think, due to his susceptibility to praise and manipulation, Trump will cause the US to be weakened as a world power, but it doesn't really matter long-term. It all comes out in the wash.
Trump's got plenty of these, too.
She's going to win.
I apologize for that rude remark. I am trying to change my life and follow Jesus' teachings, and that is going in the wrong direction. I am telling you the truth, but let's let this go. Again, I apologize for my rudeness.
Hey, believe what you want. You're nobody.
It's your problem if your mind can't believe a stranger had a gun pulled on him. It happened. It happens every day to someone. What's your problem anyway?
It's true. I'm sorry you're stupid.
They said a lot of things on January 6, like "hang Mike Pence" for example.
I don't lie. I had one pulled on me in 1992. I was a young guy and was out with a girl. Her ex-boyfriend tampered with my motorcycle when I was inside with her and it wouldn't start. She talked him into bringing back the part he took off of it. He was armed. I told him to put down the gun and I'm going to whip his ass. He wouldn't let it leave his hand. He was scared, and he was the guy with the gun. He's probably a QAnon guy today.
Which version of Salem's Lot does King prefer? I'm in the minority, but I really enjoyed the Rob Lowe version.
Good for Sam. I also just got through chemo and radiation. It's a tough road.
Yeah, I am a pretty big Reynolds fan. I hated to see him get old. The movie made me sad, too.
"MTG gets hit in the face with a bird, and this time it doesn't belong to her gym trainer!"
I can explain it. Bad writing. That explains the whole movie.
He's got to win... there's no other option for him. Otherwise, he faces the consequences of his actions. It's "fuck or walk" time.
