The beginning scenes of Prometheus with Michael Fassbender were excellent, then by the end you had a person perform major surgery on themselves and able to run down a corridor without any futuristic explanation as to how. If they can capture the feel of the first part, they might be able to capture the magic of the original Alien.
Considering IMDB2 also tried to capitalize on another board's traffic... I think it's more of an all's fair in love and war type thing. I signed up for both sites, but I'm interested seeing this board do well because it tried to preserve the individual message board idea for films and actors. But in general I agree that it's bad form.
What day is it being released? Will it be in weekly installments or all at once? Haven't been paying enough attention
Thanks for the link, the behavior on the show makes more sense after learning those rules. Didn't understand why any friends or family would talk to those people, why they just wouldn't slam the door in their faces. Didn't get why they just didn't buy 28 days of food and hide. On the other side, I didn't get how law enforcement wouldn't just get an infrared sensor and look for a pair of people with a camera crew out in the woods. The show had a good idea, but it was half baked and poorly designed. They need to tighten it up, make the rules more clear and organized if they want the show to get better.

I read the boards but rarely posted as I use Twitter or Reddit for that sort of thing. However, I appreciate the effort to save the individual boards so I will try to post here in hopes that it will catch on. Good luck!
The second episode of the second season reached Prison Break levels of absurdity, but then the show calmed down a bit and found a decent rhythm by the end. Worth watching... and hopefully the third will be as good as the first.
