Stratego's Replies

If it's a natural part of the story, I have no problem with either. But I think sex scenes are more often gratuitous. It seems they just want to show some boobies. They're also less realistic. Violence is almost always portrayed as ugly and disgusting, while sex is hot and clean. As if... I also think most people would rather watch a violent scene than a sex scene with their parents. Sex is more personal and intimate, while violence is usually more distant. Torrents are only illegal if you don't own the rights to the material you're spreading. It seems the IMDb message boards are pretty much in public domain now. The person who created that torrent isn't doing anything different than jim, who created this website and put the archives online. Yeah, I don't like the Tori episodes either. It's just not the same without Jessie and Kelly. Just weird. I've actually expressed my wish in several threads to see the different archiving projects be merged. I have not downloaded that torrent because it's way too big, but I would love to see it incorporated into this site. Maybe it eventually will be. Again, ghosts only see what they want to see. It pretty much covers anything you might think is a "plothole". He knocked on the door and then imagined the mother opening it. Or maybe he imagined the door was unlocked and he opened it, thinking the mother had noticed him. Maybe he just showed up inside and thought the mother let him in. He was basically in denial over his own death. Not that much different on TMDb, to be honest. I've started quite a few threads and posted in even more, but only got a reply to a handful of them, even though there's the Let's Chat section. Most posts are made on the same boards/threads. I've been having the same problem, although I'm using Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. I wanted to wait until after the weekend before starting a thread, but you guys beat me to it. In that case a negative but well argued opinion will basically disappear from public view because of some upset fanboys. I don't think that's fair. That reminds of the guy who went around IMDb the last few months saying Koreans were the most racist people in the world. He posted that message on the most random boards. What was that all about? I disagree. Such a button only contributes to an unpleasant atmosphere. People will dislike a legitimate opinion just because they don't agree with it or like shallow comments like "Best movie ever!". This is a discussion board, so discussion should be encouraged. If you like or dislike a post, just reply to it with your own words. I have to agree with you there. It's possible the writers themselves haven't even decided what those things are exactly. I dislike all of the shows you've mentioned except for The Sopranos. Still, I have to admit I've enjoyed more tv shows than movies the last 15 years or so. Just more proof that it was staged. Absolutely staged. Maybe for the ratings, maybe because some at the Academy didn't agree with the actual winner. But there's no way they would make this mistake after so many decades. I wish that had been my explanation! No, if anything, Trump being elected has shown even more how irrelevant anything Hollywood does is. This is so hilarious. There's no way in the world I'll ever take the Oscars seriously now, it's one big joke. Stratego was also my username on IMDb since 2001. When I had to make up a name, I was sitting behind the computer in the attic staring at some old games on the shelves next to me. 'Stratego' actually wasn't one of them, but 'Guess Who?' was already taken and 'Fashion Wheel' sounded kind of lame... I agree. I don't like moronic Joey either, but serious Joey was also not my cup of tea. So sad. And recently I was thinking it wasn't such a bad year when it came to celebrity deaths. Too young.
