I actually wanted to name The Usual Suspects as well! I'll just go with Reservoir Dogs instead.
We'll see. I'm planning to watch them all, but it's more of a background kind of thing.
Yes
That show's laugh track doesn't even sound like laughter, but scrambled noise.
"It seems to be something only Americans do, or at least I've never seen a TV show from elsewhere in the world that had a laugh track."
Absolute nonsense.
You mean "canned laughter" (which is horrible). Live studio audience is still a laugh track. As long as it's natural-sounding laughter, I've always preferred multi-cam sitcoms over single-cam sitcoms. But both are two different concepts that shouldn't even be compared.
Modern sitcoms are actually worse offenders when it comes to canned or sweetened laughter.
Oh absolutely, and the story getting more ridiculous is why Jonathan Demme opted out to direct.
Hey, I'm not the one sharing their sexual fantasies on a public forum!
Ugh, again with the Freud references? You're getting boring, find a new shtick for the next time you decide to stalk me again. Toodles!

Waters who is an absolute tool who wishes for the destruction of the West.
DeNiro has played more roles and more versatile ones at that. He also has more range than the other two, even though one problem is that his characters always have that "DeNiro" face with similar expressions (like the corners of his mouth turned down).
As far as I can remember, Nicholson has always has been held in higher esteem than Pacino who really does have a more limited range, although if he's cast in the right role he can be really good. Nicholson just became very lazy during his run of succesful films in the 80s, pretty much always playing some variation of himself. A Few Good Men may be the exception, although his distinct voice and brow does get in the way a little. And then he pretty much disappeared from the radar, younger generations may even not be all that familiair with him. Another thing is that Pacino is basically Michael Corleone, which in my opinion is a more iconic role with a lot more fans.
