I could look pass a lot if I could hit that.
Small towns in America in the 60s consisted primarily of church- going people. Doesn't mean they wete necessarily devout of course.
And I couldn't disagree more with silly & sweeping statement that religion and logic don't go together. Many of our most prominent scientists, medical men were very religious.
I do not want to engage in religious arguments, as this board is about TAGS. However, overly broad generalizations should be challenged. Just as all Muslims aren't terrorists, all religious people aren't barefoot, 6th grade graduates who marry their cousins. And all city folk aren't loud, rude know- it- alls.
I wondered the same thing. A small town in early 60s would likely be closed up entirely, except for a gas station. And the dinner was open late too.
Carrie did look hot in the wig. I would have taken her back to the room and banged the hell outta her!
I went back & forth with the gay- obsessed poster until I realized he was a troll. It is obvious to any serious viewer of Salem's Lot that no such scene (showering) ever existed (especially in a TV movie in 1979). Then he got on kick about how "Ben gazed at Mark" when they exchanged glances in Straker's shop- implying a homoerotic connection. It was trolling at it's worse.
