I think it's because there's something in something in Friends for everyone, a bit more relatable. Plus it was highly advertised here and had a good timeslot. Seinfeld was pushed to late nights on less popular channels and had to compete with big British shows. Also most folks fancied at least one of the Friends. Though I never saw the attraction to any of the guys. I was quite young when it was on but I used to watch a few late night repeats in my early teens. I didn't see what all the fuss was about but I think I was just too young to understand the humour. It wasn't until I was about 30 that I watched it again. What a wasted life I'd led up until the point :D No I'm white-ish. I don't know any black people but I can maybe see how they wouldn't. I agree. A total waste of an evening spent watching it. I'm beyond disappointed. Yes i felt exactly that. The film was totally pointless. One of the worst I've ever seen. I thought it was pretty decent when compared to a lot of horror films I've seen recently which have much higher ratings. I'm all for Tim Daly in anything. He's already been to the electric chair so he has experience. I agree. Jeremy Runner had so much potential, although he's a little shirt but the script was such a let down. I hope the new film will live up to the book. Yeah he was great in that role. Of all the serial killer films I've seen so far that was the one I'd say was the best depiction. I wish they'd do a good one on Dahmer, high hopes for the new one coming out soon. We definitely do. Most of the time I don't have that much to really say or make a valuable contribution to a discssion but force myself to say something/anything just to fill the page up - throwaway, daft (non-trolling) comments mostly :) I guess because good people, by their nature, aren't obsessed with controlling others and dont dedicate all their energy to being 'better' than everyone else. Psychopaths rule the world. I think maybe the darkside is stronger in this respect. Agreed. I watched it with a group of friends right after we saw Man of Steel (total buzz kill). I couldn't bear to watch anymore past the first hour and I've rarely ever not finished watching a movie. Human beings need to fix the evil/indifferece/darkness in our DNA before we start reaching out for other planets to infect. Alien: Covenant Just... awful. (5/10) I totally agree, he would've been perfect. Have you seen it yet? The reviews and feedback Ive seen so far haven't looked good. ***possible spoiler below*** Why has the movie put so much focus on the Deorr Kuntz case? Paulides' set of 'criteria' should've ruled this case out. Biehn definitely. I saw T1 when I was 7, been in love with him ever since. This would be great *thumbs up* ... can confirm he did. In every scene he looked like he was trying to squeeze out a fart. What are people's thoughts on the (fake) shots of Earth through the round windows on Apollo 11? They say in the footage that the camera is against the glass but later on its revealed that the camera is actually at the back of the cabin and what we see is not Earth at a distance it is actually just the Earths light through the round window as the craft is still in orbit. The timestamp shown the footage they should've been half way there, not in orbit around Earth. Why fake the shot at all? The Martian. I'd then switch it off 1 min later and use the rest of the precious couple of hours I'd gained back to do anything with that didn't involve watching that crap again. I like it the way it is.
