I loved how God had written both their lives, that I thought was rather genius writing. It made me look at this show differently. I had my doubts with Rob playing God, I still don't think he played him as a villain as well as he could have. I also get what your saying about Cas and Lucifer overstaying their welcome since they couldn't wait to get rid of Crowley for less. Bringing back dead characters became lame Bobby cough Bobby is a prime example. Fan service gone OTT. I did however, love S5+10. I also have my reservations about the prequel. He's signing autographs Jensen said, so I think he's better than we think he is. I don't think he's laid up in bed anything like that. Articles haven't even said what day it happened. But he wasn't the driver and Jensen said he saw the car afterwards. So no one has reported any broken bones, or ribs or anything of that nature yet. I am sure he knows we're thinking of him. Redban, thank you another cool response. I think that's laid that thought to rest. It was nagging me for ages! I think hindsight is a wonderful tool to have at our disposal. We see how this show has grown since those early days, and too have seen negative comments about the current S15 ending. I always categorically stated that I never wanted either or both brothers to die even if it were a type of Butch and Sundance as J2 had hoped for themselves. I also remember the hype after watching it live when Sam did come back from hell under that lamp post. My feelings were through the roof. Many say S1 - 5 are the show's golden years, and have heard this said world wide many times since. There is I guess a grain of truth in there somewhere. However, some of the best season arc's have come flooding back into my memory since too. We had some great, strong writers who I feel delivered. I fondly remember Demon Dean; The first Blade, Purgatory, The Tablets, I can go on... I remember over on the days of IMDb Charlie was nicknamed Robbie Thompsons Mary Sue, the posts never seemed to stop moaning about her. At times I did sympathise with her like when she visited her mother in hospital for example. But I never got Charlie as the Winchester Sister. As for Bella Talbot I must have been one of the few who did get her. I get why she made the deal with the demon because she was abused. I felt her ending was so very sad and the boys didn't help to save her. I think Bella did get a lot of flack sorry to say. She was sassy, and got away with winding Sam and Dean up particularly over the lottery cards that she stole and the rabbit foot. She was a master of disguise. It's okay, no worries. Personally, I would give it higher much higher! Peter already knows Neal is alive, so that cover is blown. So a revival would sort of work. I am so chuffed its coming back. All I can think of is that Neal left the page open on the treasure when he shut the lid to the lap top. But I cannot believe that even Neal wouldn't be that stupid. When Peter and Mozzie went to Identify Neal in the morgue it was all an act Mozzie knew Neal didn't really die. It was an act to fool Peter and the FBI. Those were fake tears Mozzie was showing. It was the best con of all time. At one time he said after SPN he said if it wasn't for Walker he would give up acting because he felt insecure in front of the camera. I liked Walker they all seemed to connect and the stories were strong for a first season. I was however, disappointed with the finale. I am looking foward to S2. Oh, the fanbase cared. S6 and S7 were poor immitations of what followed those first 5 seasons. I didn't care for S8 because of how it treated Sam. But after, the story telling got back on track and produced some amazing episodes. We had some great writers like Bob Berens and Meredith Glynn to name a couple of my favourites. It felt, at times like the old days. The witcher is going to run for another 6 years so I've heard. I never read the books so not sure how true to it they are. Henry had an injury and they had to hault filming for a bit, but are on track again now. I hated the Levianth story line too. The CGI monster teeth were just awful. Both Sera's seasons were not that great. I think I hated souless Sam with a real passion. They just didn't know how to write him souless. God, I so miss Rowena and Crowley together. I thought how she died was so selfless and how elegantly she took it, held it on her chin and just went with it. I loved Crowley so much I even named my dog after Fergus McLeod his meat suit that's how much I loved that character. When I go dog walking its surprising the number of people who have named their pets after TV characters and who watch Supernatural which really surprised me. But I so get you about the daddy issues. There were some characters I didn't like to start with but then as time went on my mood changed and I switched. But I always stayed in tune with Crowley have you watched him back Season 5 EP10 when he first started, he's so young and it shows. The show I am getting into now is the Witcher and its brilliant, watch it if you get a chance. Season 2 comes out just before Christmas Dec 20th. Henry Cavill is playing the lead, and he so owns it. I missed Mark more than I ever realised I would, and as you say he did for me at times too take over Misha. His story was so more interesting. Again, that's how Sheppard puts across his character and brings out the best in the writing. Yes, you're right about Lucifer having 'Daddy issues' is what I picked up on too. It got so preidicatable and damned boring. I don't remember that line, but then my memory is crap at the best of times. These two are such great actors in delivering that bad guy image and its stood the test of time. I bet when we look back on this show in twenty years we will still remember these characters for the same reasons. What they bought, and how they bought that character alive. I don't think this show will ever date. We saw some great characters. beauq81 I seemed to remember you from IMDb. Mark bought a quality to the show that seemed to keep it going. I think we also have the writers to thank for that too in many ways. Mark had the best one-liners and he had a certain way of performing comedy which allowed him to stand out more than other actors. He knew how to charm us too and at the same time be the villain. I also got as an actor he knew how to work the camera, being in front of it. He got into us and he just managed to captivate us in a certain way. Mark Pelligrino is also good at this too. I still feel both actors were let down at the end, and that is a real, real shame. Both men deserved better. It's a series that is a slow burner. You need to give it time to get into the lead characters and their back stories. Watch it from the top, and give the first season a good chance for it to work. According to a number of critics it is considered to be one of the best, of its 15 year run. The chemistry between the leads is what made me stay, hope its the same for you, followed by the story telling. Azazel will always be my favourite bad guy. I loved Fred as an actor and what he bought. With Azazel his story felt much more personal to the boys than any other villain that comes after him. I never tired of watching Azazel and what his end vision was. My other goes to Zachariah and that Kurt Fuller was just pure awesome. Seeing him return not so long ago was a lovely surprise. Kurt knew how to be a good dark villain, and Dean got to do the deed in the end in killing him. Uriel together with Zach both bought a lot to Season 5 which I've never forgotten. My third choice goes to Cain, the master of death from Crowley's lips just cemented his whole story of who Cain was, how dangerous he was to be around. How magical the guy was in taking Crowley's voice away in just one click was pure genius. Tim knew how to get the best out of the character and he was only on the show a short time, but he knew how to tug at my heart in a way I've not felt for years. First Born was one of my all time favourite episodes, and that fight scene I will never forget. Crowley and Lucifer are on the list, but they were guys who returned on a regular basis not just on our screens for short intervals. Crowley is one that you loved to hate, and gave the boys a merry dance all the time. It broke me when Crowley took his own life, it just felt empty without him after. Lucifer towards the end became stale, and I hated to think that way about Mark Pelligrino, because I knew the writers didn't give him the best lines towards the end, neither Mark Sheppard. I wanted much more for both of them than what they ended up with. I never got Alistair or Dick Roman, two least favourites out of the lot. I looked on Amazon and its not out until the new year 15 Jan. 2022. I don't know the author either. Priced at £24.35 and you can't even look inside and have a peak. So you don't know what you are buying. There are still MORE stories to tell, and more monsters to kill. Just because God has gone more or less, horizons look positively brighter at the moment. Considering what weekend we just had. I think finding out about early life is a cool idea, but like Sammi said earlier I wonder if there is enough scope there to bring it all out in the open and keep it fresh and going for six or more seasons. I think Jensen and Co are taking a big risk in starting from the beginning. I think telling a story after death as a seqeuel would have been better as they are together now as a family and reunited. They all hunt, and are already a little community in themselves. But then since they are dead, how can they fight something alive on earth, maybe something to ponder...
