I don't recall Jefferson being that much younger than Marcy. In fact, I thought they were around the same age. But yes, Marcy was always undercover trashy. Remember when Peg went dancing with that gay guy? Marcy came with them to the club, and flirted with the men in a sexy dress.
I saw it a few days ago, my knowledge of the former Russian empire is very limited. Nor do I know that much about Azerbaijan, except what I hear in the news. Geography is one of my favorite subjects, I love learning about various countries and cultures. I had not idea the movie was based on RL people. The location shots and costumes were beautiful. I sensed Ali was going to get killed when he exited the train. I agree, excellent movie. The actors had cool chemistry!
It would be cool is there was movies based on LMM's other novels as well. For example: The Blue Castle.

Is her niece Claire still on the show? It would be fun to see Sami interact with her.
Will could make cameos as a ghost, the writers did it for Y&R's Cassie, and GH's Georgie.
I watched some of the movie yesterday. I was curious, since I have never seen Paula P act in anything. Unfortunately the DVD was flawed, therefore I did not get a chance to see the whole movie. However I did think it was cute.

I saw the movie a few weeks, and felt it was a cute remake. I did not know Martin's son Ramon was on the production team.
There is a current SC thread asking the same question. It seems like a lot of the fans on that board want them to have a fling. I wonder what Lauren's reaction will be? Do she and Sharon get along?

I'm a 70's child as well. "Speed Buggy" was one of my faves. I also liked "Shazam" and "Isis" as well. "Davey and Goliath" was good too!
I have been watching a few shows on DVD as well. For example; "Mad Men" which was cancelled last year, "Call The Midwife" which is a British retro program, and the Canadian retro program "When Calls The Heart". It is sad we longer have quality family shows and sitcoms on TV like we use to. Remember "made for TV movies". Those were fun to watch.
I noticed Elizabeth and her sisters wear dresses that have a little cleavage, I know that was pretty scandalous in that era. It looks out of place on the show. Then again, since they are society gals, maybe it was permissible back then. In addition, in season 3, Jack took a school picture, my friend and I noticed that the camera he used was quite modern looking for the early 1900's. In fact, the camera looked slightly digital instead of the box type cameras of that era. We felt the prop people goofed.
I'm watching season 3 on DVD with friends now. We were surprised how much the young actor resembled M. Culkin. I was wondering if he was related to the actor? NTM, the actress that portrays Elizabeth's mom favors soap opera actress Maura West( " Carly" ATWT and "Ava" GH) a little bit.
