Yes, basically their mixing lies with truth is taking things out of context and using statistics that are technically right but were collated in a manner to get a particular outcome. Like their gun death statistics where they fail to mention most of those are suicides.

I normally would agree, but I don't trust the capitol polices' side of the story when they are seen taking down barricades, opening electronically locked doors and waving people in. There are videos of them using flash bangs and gassing and beating lifeless protesters. How bout the one who shot that woman? So basically let them release all of the video and watch it on a case by case basis to see if the 'violent' protesters just up and decided to assault or were provoked or trying to save their own lives. It should be easy to see what led p to all the violent encounters and if it is clear they did it unprovoked then fck them, let them rot.
Honestly there was so much fucking around that day that everyone involved should be out. And if they commit crimes after then they will be arrested. I'm not sure this is the case but many might be fucked in the head now for being held in solitary confinement for 3 years and tortured, but who knows without examining the individual cases that you mentioned.
None of them were given a fair trial and they cant get one in dc and we will never be told which agencies were there or involved.

In my opinion the film suffered tremendously without his involvement. He grounded the original and kept it from getting too contrived and meandering into pointless plot points, without him this film was kind of terrible.

The hate is well deserved and it is getting worse for the 2017 film because the 'new' factor has worn out. The source material is so strong that any competent filmmaker could pull off a blockbuster but they made pennywise a slasher villain who any actor could have played and honestly the film already looks dated.
Adding the hobo house was a good idea and completely splitting up the stories is how it should be handled. But it is getting forgotten, time for a remake.
The kids portion is pretty good especially with Curry's Pennywise. It needs to be edited with all the adult segments removed.
I thought pennywise was crappy in the remake and when the main character of the franchise sucks, the movie sucks. They made him look and act like a killer clown the entire time and it just turned him into a run of the mil slasher.
Time will treat the remake poorly because it doesn't have a great performance as pennywise, could have been any actor in that make up to be honest.
Neither one has a great second act because the second act wasn't even strong in the novel. Very rushed
You cant get the truth out of them one day after a non-event happens. A major event sixty years later is sure to be complete fabrication. Not to mention I doubt they write any of the truth on paper. We all know who did it, the ones we cannot criticize.
