Depends on your definition of a god.
Sorry, I should have updated, I finally found it by googling the tag line. It was another re-release of Deathdream (aka Dead of Night, King of the Grave). I even updated its IMDb profile.
Can't tell if the movie was also from the 1990s or much earlier. Try searching TV Tropes or on IMDB using keywords like hidden loot. See http://www.imdb.com/search/keyword?keywords=hidden-loot
Sounds like (a vague recollection of) COLUMBO - Prescription: Murder (1968)

But, also try, Dead Person Impersonation tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DeadPersonImpersonation

Then why the Report option?
Sorry, but, I had already checked out the Diane Hernandez listed in the cast and it wasn't her.
This is another Diane Hernandez who is a model.
Or admins on this board, for that matter.
Email or post a link to some of those pictures, Diana Hernandez looks rather different than the stripper in the movie.
No, I scanned the movie several times, as it's compiled of nothing but clips and not in a linear story line, and I don't think its her. I did check her other credits and believe this is her. https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BMzQwMTYwNzQzNV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwMzIzNTk4NjE@._V1_UX214_CR0,0,214,317_AL_.jpg
No match.
There are a few but I'll pick one. Hollywood - Anna Torv. N. Hollywood - Lauren Phoenix.
Maybe they saw it on a B/W TV? Maybe Trouble With Angels or Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows which are in color?

Maybe Get Low (2009) A movie spun out of equal parts folk tale, fable and real-life legend about the mysterious, 1930s Tennessee hermit who famously threw his own rollicking funeral party... while he was still alive.
Def Leppard - Photograph https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZ5bS3_BCDs
And, just in case, J. Geils Band - Centerfold https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqDjMZKf-wg
Can this be marked SOLVED?
Not Lost In America, recently saw it.
It may be Rude Awakening (1989)
In the 1960s, two hippies go off into the jungle to evade the FBI. When they come back to New York in the 1980s, their fellow hippie friends have become rich yuppies.
Directors: David Greenwalt, Aaron Russo

The World According To Garp?
Maybe Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964). A misfit reindeer and his friends look for a place that will accept them. They encounter the Island of Misfit Toys?
