It was okay, but the new episode was too short for the long wait for this season's opener, and the pacing was a bit too slow. Also--flashbacks. Good grief. Why does EVERY show have to have flashbacks these days, that breaks the pacing and keeps the story from moving forward at a reasonable speed. That he's not with 2 other people, is only one person (In real life they would never just send one person on a trip to Titan) and not in space but actually underground, but actually is in space. It's basically the worst option the corporation decided on for John Dutton, heck an actual assassination would have had less suspicion. John would never kill himself, and Montana knows it. Aye, and what would 6666 be about anyway? The government/corporation trying to take land from the ranch while cowboys rope cattle? They'll need a fresh story that isn't Yellowstone recycled if they want people to keep watching, Jimmy and the random Travis appearance isn't enough to hold a show. Yeah I know, was just writing Angmar as short form for Witch-King of Angmar. We all want to look young again, that's just human nature, but consciousness cannot be transferred by injections or blood transfusion. However, holding back disbelief, if one were to have full control of the younger body, sentience & consciousness, there would be a lot of demand for it I think and people would be addicted, even if it is for only 7 days every other 7 days. There would be a LOT of misuse, government regulations would step in long before this went public anyway, lol. Aye. The best part about Jan 2017-Jan 2021, no new wars under President Trump. People need to wake up and realize that when they go vote. Kamala will send us to World War III and billions of dollars more money funneled into Ukraine instead of here at home where it belongs. Help the American people in need, stop sending that money to Ukraine. Digital release. Film is way too disgusting for the theater. Do not watch with food either. Great interview, fantastic watch. If I had all the originals on VHS I’d totally go for it, only DVD and digital media here. I’ve seen the fiilm twice and wasn’t sure, but upon further thought in reference to previous Alien films, maybe WY didn’t want to ship out the Alien to a new research facility until they were able to bypass ICC customs and regulations. In essence they didn’t want it to be impounded and seized or destroyed by ICC agents. It sounds like the Interstellar Commerce Commission has a lot of power in both original Alien films. LOL, nevermind. I read the title wrong, thought it said Ridley not Ripley. Yep, I haven't seen Ripley yet, but I still find the guy at 15:17 smoking a cig watching the ship leave a bit curious. When the ship takes off from Jackson’s Star Colony. I suspected it was the guy watching from a distance. Very nice. I am now ready for Alien Covenant 2 or Alien Yvaga III or Alien Isolation 2. The time period between Covenant, Alien, and Aliens is rich for premium storytelling and atmosphere. It is definitely a bit too fast. They need to go back to Alien and see how long it took poor Kane to be chestbursted after being facehugged hours earlier. Decades ago when I worked at the gas station and constantly saw the newspaper headlines for "Michael Peterson" yes. After seeing this real life documentary decades later, no I don't think he did. The wife was drunk at the pool, went inside, went up the stairs, got out and put out Christmas lights, then went down towards the stairs, got assaulted by an owl, talons piercing into her skull flesh, blood everywhere, owl microfeathers found in her fingernails, and she falls down the stairs in absolute agony, blood pouring out everywhere, while drunk, gets up, slips, bangs head, knocked out, still drunk, gets up, falls again, gets up, slips, falls, bangs head, continues to bleed out, husband arrives witnessing the end of this absolute terror, she dies. It's absolute insanity what happened to this woman. Mostly because the film has atmosphere, immersion, a great soundtrack, ambient noise, gritty and real sets, engaging characters. Same reason Alien Isolation is so highly regarded. The film Aliens also carries the same qualities, Alien 3 also does to a point--but the story is not AS good as the first two. Romulus takes place 20 years after Alien, year 2142, also a few short years after the events of Alien Isolation in 2137 (which is now getting a sequel!). Arielle for sure. Started the first episode, didn't like it about 30 mins in. Too comedic and a farce. These kids killed their parents and Netflix makes a joke out of it, it's distasteful.
