what the hell?

the world governments are happy to send soldiers and people to fight in the future but none are interested to find the aliens origin and location to destroy them preemptively?

It does seem pretty stupid. It wouldn't cost much in the big picture of things to send a team out there to at least survey the area and see if they can detect any sign of something, and plan a proper destruction. As a result we have this ridiculous desperate personal battle against the odds at the end as if the writer conveniently got rid of the military's involvement.

Yeah, there were a few 'what the hell' moments in the film that I could get past because it was a stupid action movie, but that one was really a head scratcher.

So true. This plot is like a bad mix of Terminator and Idiocracy.

pretty insane indeed.what i found even more crazier is the people coming from the future ( both vets from previous battles as the future people) give 0 fucking feedback to the people in our time. you could build decades of advantage and preparations , but nope
