Latino Hatred ?
The white cast bottered me. I would have loved a larger negro cast. However I was happy to see so many strong woman.
But you you get the feel that the director projected latino hatred towards John Leguizamo ?
All the white men in this film was evil, narcissistic, self-centred, weak and tasteless. A pretty accurate portrait of white non jewish men in general. Casting more blacks would make this film racist. If so they would need a different script with blacks as the hero. Leguizamo was cast as white in this. A very weak white man. Even the upper west side food critique white woman was a sociopath and evil.
However I agree films with a large black cast are usually very successful.
John leguizamo was cast as Hispanic. Both last names that were given for him were Garcia and Diaz. And all races of men were evil in this movie. White black Asian Hispanic and I think the dude with the chubby face was kind of Middle Eastern. So it wasn't just white man hating it was diverse men hating.
