Its fundamentally the same concept.
Get a load of people that "deserve to die", put them on an island with no escape, kill them,. And then yourself into the bargain.
Fun film, I enjoyed it, but nothing particularly new, just variations on a theme.
Even with "Margot" escaping, that's just AC's 1943 stage play ending rewrite.
