I'm curious considering all the Johnny Depp controversy surrounding her lately...

I suspect Depp doesnt have enough friends left in Hollywood to get her fired, or enough pull.
She's also locked in for Aquaman 3 (Which Mamoa says will be the last one) and an appearance in the next Justice League movie (which is looking like it's not going to happen)
shareUgh! I like Jason Mamoa and I so wanted to like Aquaman but even he couldn't save it from utter mediocrity. Having an utterly weak and forgettable female co star didn't do him any favors. She was terrible. I'm definitely passing on the sequel.

I don't think I'd seen her in anything before Aquaman and thought she was good - which is actually very good when you consider that she could have been largely invisible in this kind of film.
Now that her physical abuse of Depp has been confirmed, it will be interesting to see if she gets cancelled. Men are cancelled without proof but she has tapes on her behaviour so the studio would have to be thinking over how they handle it, the femcel audience for Aquaman can't be too big.
shareMy guess is she stays on the movie. The Depp story doesn't fit their agenda, so the mainstream media is mostly ignoring or downplaying this (maybe the abuse was mutual!). The woke media is not going to hold her accountable at all, like they would a man. Could you imagine the uproar over that audio if the roles had been reversed?
shareFilming won't start till summer or fall. With now her saying of abuse to Johnnie I think they will recast or write out her part.They won't say till before filming though.
