No interest in this.
Looks boring.
shareAmen. Another Will Smith vehicle.
shareFirst half was good...then just kind meandered.
shareFirst half was good...then just kind meandered. I was hoping the movie would go into the parents' divorce and their older sister's murder.
shareDoes it look boring because it's not a superhero movie?
You're missing out. Great movie.
Not much of a superhero fan. I watch them, but I don't love them. This movie just doesn't interest me. Not the biggest Will Smith fan either. Not the biggest fan of biopics also. They always change the facts and the structure of them is always similar. All that makes me not very interested in this.
It is amazing, the ego of some people. Did you post this because you were certain that many people were wondering to themselves whether you were interested in King Richard or not?
shareI am sure there are others out there like me. I speak for all people with big egos. I am their representative.
shareIt’s a BIOPIC about TENNIS and it has WILL SMITH in it. Those are 3 things that have 0 interest for me; hence, boring.
shareI agree. Boring is probably an understatement.
shareWhy are you so sure something you haven't seen is boring? Clearly you love superhero movies and childish stuff. Can't stand anything that has any adult situations. Boring is the last thing anyone who has seen King Richard has said.
shareOh please, I have seen more adult situation films than you ever will. You know nothing about what I like. I don't like biopics...I find them boring and historically inaccurate. I don't see why this will be any different.
share>> It is amazing, the ego of some people. <<
Ironic, you wrote that while defending a "Venus & Serena Williams biopic" movie where NOBODY CARES who actually played the famous tennis stars, but rather who played their DAD, because the movie was made solely as a "star vehicle" for Will Smith to be front and center of the movie.
Coming soon, a Dwight D. Einsenhower biopic with a totally unknown and forgettable actor as Ike, but STARRING Jennifer Lawrence as Dwight's mom in the epic film "IDA'S WAY"
Yes, the ego of SOME people, indeed....
I'll get around to watching it some day.
shareI watched it, it was okay.
Will Smith has been OFF for the past 20 years. He was excellent in "Ali" and I think that was his last inspiring role. I didn't care for his subsequent films where he's been injecting too much Scientology themes into his movies, including the ironic superhero movie "Hancock". He could have done something special with that role but it plays out as expected.
