We all know Cruise says he wants to keep the franchise going, but after the last one underperformed and with the budget getting out of control for this one I'll be curious if Paramount will let him do another.

Not at all. However well this one does, they'll do another one. Cruise might stay on as a producer and let a new actor take the lead.
