The last one, Dead Reckoning, was a box office disappointment. They foolishly released it right in the midst of Barbenheimer.

Too bad. I didn't see Barbie, but I thought the M:I movie was much more entertaining than Oppenheimer.

I know many people looking forward to supporting it. Another tom cruise action flick NOT packed with totally fake CGI stunts. Self included. Maybe it won't be MCU profits, but should be a decent watch.

They need to take into consideration that while these movies made money, they were not mega-hits. None of them crossed the $700M mark let alone cracked a billion. And that's alright but not if they spend $300M to $400M on the budget as rumored.

the moneys are "hollywood finance" lies for fake companies... much like mafia money landering. an LLC folds, taxes written off, budgets inflated. no one ever sees REAL line items costing 300 million. that's insane.
at the end of the day, we're all paid already, and moving on to the next scam.
and audineces get SOMETHING fun to watch.

movies should never cost 100 million. its like the healthcare system charging $700 for a shot that cost $5 to manufacture

Literally none of the Tom Cruise MI movies have "flopped". And with this being the "final" one, it will be a massive money-maker.
