The teaser trailer for Star Trek: Section 31 coming to Paramount+ in early 2025 makes good on its promise for something different. Check it out… https://youtu.be/kYfXhCp2UVY

In the Section 31 movie, Yeoh reprises her Discovery role as Emperor Philippa Georgiou who “joins a secret division of Starfleet. Tasked with protecting the United Federation of Planets, she also must face the sins of her past.” Section 31 also stars Omari Hardwick (Power), Kacey Rohl (Hannibal), Sam Richardson (Ted Lasso), Sven Ruygrok (One Piece), Robert Kazinsky (Pacific Rim), Humberly Gonzalez (Ginny & Georgia) and James Hiroyuki Liao (Barry).

The new teaser also revealed a first look at a young Philippa Georgiou, played by Miku Martineau (Kate).

As stated in the comments looks like Guardians of the Galaxy meets Suicide Squad meets Star Trek Renegades (fan series that is barely remembered for having to remove all references to Trek for follow up episodes to meet new fan film guidelines) and also that ep of Picard in s1 where they go to the space nightclub

Another shite born from Discovery. Yeoh has fallen from her earlier days as a martial artist. It's like if CIA was led by Beyonce and had the mindset of Spy Kids 3D, this was the result.

Looks very generically bland.

Disappointing. This could have been great as a series maybe three or four years ago but instead it looks like they've decided to use Michelle Yeoh's Oscar to pump out filler content...

This doesn't look like anything Star Trek related.

Totally lost interest in Star Trek after disappointment with Star Trek: Enterprise - but to me this looks like a thinly veiled attempt to portray Donald Trump as an Asian woman.

This is not Star Trek, it's SHE Trek trash.
