Watched this today on Prime. I think Anne Hathaway was miscast for this and I didn't believe the chemistry or relationship between her character and Nicholas Galitzine. The story is alright, albeit a little predictable and formulaic. It's not a bad film, just average. 6/10

shareFor about 30-40 minutes, I was getting more than my fill of Hathaway’s character resisting this guy’s obvious appeal. I don’t like people who chronically act guarded.
But then … cracks appear, and we realize she’s definitely got her reasons, mostly in the form of Reid Scott playing one of the biggest asshole exes to ever grace the screen. I don’t respect people who can’t see what’s important and always have a reason not to do the thing that they absolutely should do, and for the first half she was that. Her lowest point was claiming, in response to Hayes telling her all the things he felt, that she was ashamed. My opinion changed when she finally admitted that she did feel all those things also.
It's a decent romantic relationship movie, and Hathaway and Galitzine are both very good in their roles. If you like these kinds of movies, it's well worth seeing.
