What about China? Any news there?

reply

Officially banned yesterday.

I'll never understand why America allies itself with a country that beheads people. Forget the homophobia, beheading people is positively medieval! I guess oil is so delicious it's easy to look the other way. How anyone can cut another person's head off and think that's okay is beyond me.

reply

The only reason the US (not America!) imports oil is because of Democrats opposition to pipelines and development.

reply

No, because they don't have the tools to refine them as do other countries. Cheaper to export and import from certain areas in most cases. I wrote about this some months back.

reply

I rather see drug dealers, rapists and serial killers beheaded than having them waste tax payers money by living a comfortable life in Jail and then getting out of it on parole and continue their crusade of crime and society corruption.

After reports that “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” has been banned in Saudi Arabia and select Gulf nations, the Saudi Arabian government has clarified the censorship standards requested of Disney.

Nawaf Alsabhan, Saudi Arabia’s general supervisor of cinema classification, told The Guardian that Disney was asked to cut “LGBTQ references” from “Doctor Strange 2″ so the film could premiere in the country. However, Alsabhan noted that the film is not officially banned, despite AMC Cinemas in Saudi Arabia saying it had been “withdrawn” from theaters ahead of its May 6 release.

Marvel Comics tested out America Chavez with her own comic book. It was a colossal failure. So, of course they make her a pivotal character in a movie. This is why comic books have sucked in the last decade.

Saudi's want to ban some shit over inconsequential preferences? What if they banned movies over people eating BBQ? I say fuck a market like that. They can come running out of their tents in their robes, swinging their scimitars about other people's choices all they like. But screw catering to medieval societies.

So ...
Marvel: 0
Saudi Arabia: 0

reply

It's just got banned in China for no given reasons even though Disney made a special cut for the Chinese market.

Millions of dollars gone.

reply

The fact they made special edits for specific markets just highlights the blatant hypocrisy. Supporting LGBTQ and promoting the agenda is okay except when you are trying to make a buck. lol.

reply

Well I'm not sure how different the Chinese cut was but the recent TV spot scene showed an anti-CCP newspaper booth in the scene where Strange fights Shuma Gorath and some Chinese went bananas over it, someone probably shoved Disney's future Chinese market venture down the shaft.

Maybe they'll make another Chinese friendly cut.
