If it's a financial success, then whatever WB or Marvel has planned may continue as scheduled (strike not withstanding). If it's a bomb and just outright panned by critics, I bet that WB will scale back on James Gunn's planned DC reboot out of fear like they always have whenever WB gets panicky.

I don't think it'll do either. James Gunn says if it's a hit he'll likely incorporate it into his new DCU. If not, he'll just discard it and press on with what he's got planned. The big test (as far as Warner/DC is concerned) will be Gunn's own Superman: Legacy, due in July 2025.
