Gary Stu of Spider-Man's?

The anomaly that wasn't meant to be. The spider stolen from Earth-42 into Earth-1610 and transformed Miles Morales was able to outmatch every other Spider-Man iteration and escape Neuva York (Earth-928)? C'mon man.

-Spot reminds me of Rorschach from Watchman.

-The art, the contrast, the saturation, the shifting of different styles was phenomenal. I also got a Mirror's Edge feel with the outward landscapes when they were outside looking towards the horizon (https://youtu.be/msDf8XWTwwc).

The plot is well written in this movie and by the end of it it'll make you want to re-watch it again. Can't wait for Beyond the Spider-Verse and to see some Peter action again since he's relegated to dad bod with cute daughter.

It would have been better if Gwen and Peter helped him escape. It did seem to undermine all the other Spider-Man variants that they couldn’t stop him from escaping.

So yeah Miles is a bit of a Gary Stu in that moment. Still nowhere close to Rey in the Star Wars sequels though as that was throughout the entire trilogy.

They will in Beyond the Spider-Verse ;). They got the gang back together again.

Yep was very excited by that end sequence.
