Question about Molly Beth
Ok, so how they killed her in a crowded metro station and lure her/drag her body into the tunnels?
shareOk, so how they killed her in a crowded metro station and lure her/drag her body into the tunnels?
shareI don't see how that could happen at the ATL airport which is one of the busiest in the world.
shareIt was supposed to take place within the Five Points MARTA station, which is in downtown Atlanta near the Georgia State campus. The airport is south of downtown, so it's maybe a 10 minute MARTA ride there. The thing is, the station depicted in the series really doesn't look anything like Five Points in real life (in fact, you can see a sign for Canadian transit in the series, which tells you it was filmed in Canada).
Why they didn't just try to meet her at the Atlanta airport at the top of the main escalator near baggage claim is beyond me. It would actually have been a longer drive for them to Five Points than to stop at the airport (they were driving from the south).
Regardless of the location the situation isn't plausible.
shareI think it's more plausible than other situations in the series.
Two guys with guns could come up to her as she steps off the MARTA when there are few people around, and they could quietly tell her to come with them. They bring her near the tunnel and when nobody is looking, tell her to keep walking with them. They all do that and then they shoot her in the tunnel.
At least, that's one way it could have gone down.
"I think it's more plausible than other situations in the series." I can't argue with that statement.

In the book she WAS killed in the arrivals. Behind the luggage conveyor.! One of many inconsistencies to the book.
shareI think it's more likely that they drag her first and then shoot her inside the tunnel, but it still doesn't make sense in a crowded place.
It could be that they just had someone grab the bag and then ran into the tunnel, and then she decided to give chase. That's when she got shot.
The point of them meeting there was very little surveillance.
shareThis really isn't a show you try and analyze. I don't get why Reacher is just hitting so many people, you would think he would want to be more low key but then it wouldn't be a fun show either if he was like that.
