Who should take over the lead Westerner in the Meg franchise?

This is clearly going to be a lucrative franchise, but not to the extent that they can keep paying Statham to show up. But certainly of higher caliber than the Sharknado movies. What do we think? A good vehicle for Channing Tatum? White House Down wasn't totally embarrassing.

Hey what about Steven Seagal! He could maybe play a whale that saves the day in another instalment.

It will need to feature a foreign male /female lead that resonates with the China man.

Willis and Stallone used to be big there. Statham is the best option. He is well liked in China.
