Ridley Scott ought to be publicly horsewhipped and stuck in the stockade so people could throw tomatoes and rotten eggs at him ... what a waste of an interesting and well portrayed world.

Such "reviews" are written by desperately sad people who want to draw attention to themselves, by coming up with oh so witty quips and non sequiturs like these.

They care not about what they are reviewing, they just want you to think they are funny.

They're not.

Having watched it and had the same criticisms, these pointed it out in a humous way. Don't think you can assume the mantle of the arbiter of funny.

Not advocating what is and.isnt funny at all, just my personal opinion.

Such criticisms just make me groan, i think the writer is clearly seeking attention and saying "ohhhh, look how clever and witty I am".

Ridley Scott is one of the execs but I'd put most of the blame on the showrunner Aaron Guzikowski for being a little bitch who was trying to jerk off his daddy Ridley Scott (and Aliens franchise) so much.

This show reminded me of Lost but in a bad way. Mystery boxes, mystery boxes everywhere!
I don't think your average viewer would give a fuck to tune in for 3rd or 4th season to finally get the payoff for mind-boggling things established back in season 1.

You think it will last that long? I was surprised there are so many critics of this show ... well, not surprised the people are critical, but surprised that they have the courage to be so open and strident about it. I won't watch any of it any more, I found it offensive to people with double-digit IQs.

I swear.. this thread. What is it with Scott Apologist? Whenever Scott makes something that is his usual shittiness it is always the studios fault. The Scott Apologists have been using that tired excuse since Blade Runner.
