it feels like they had no explanation or did i miss it. how and why could Loki time slip? how and why were the time lines dying? so if the container expanded they died. if the container was destroyed they died. so what did time do before Kang came in and harnessed the time lines and pruned the branches?
How and why could Loki keep entire timelines and branches alive? i mean a season before in the TVA infinity stones were shown as nothing and even a god like Lokis power could easily be supress TVA dampening machine. making him seem weak and powerless. yet has the power to keep the entire multiverse and all timelines? it seems odd someone from a single timelines and "lesser than", could have the power to do that to something far greater than himself, which wuld be power the multiverse.
was Kang and the TVA just not that powerful? they had some cool tech (like dampening powers within the tva) but ultiamtely werent that strong?
EDIT: reddit seems to have some decent explanations
Thanks for the link. Interesting discussion. But even with some possible explanations, it still seems convoluted and the way it left Loki was unsatisfying.
i kind of feel the same. But i am pretty satisfied with their explanations it seems coherent even though its silly we had to search it out. but i just wish they showed/explained this in the show instead of making others do it.
BUT basically loki is powering it and ascending to new god level. and the TVA's role now is to track down Kangs and stop dangeorus Kangs and prevent a multiuniversal war.
