I felt my brain cells dying

🤦

reply

This episode was so boring nobody's talking about the show anymore lol.

reply

it's trending on twitter

reply

I meant that as a joke. Compared to the previous episodes, this one was a let down though.

reply

Any shit will trend on twitter ...

reply

Except you.

reply

comic book movies are for boring normie nerds....

reply

normie has becóme such a normie slur.

reply

normie!

reply

I'm enjoying the show so far!

Much more fun than the deadly serious "Falcon and the Winter Soldier".

reply

That show is dead and buried. The only good part in that was the opening flashback to good 'ole murderous Winter Soldier.

reply

"TFATWS" isn't dead and buried, season 2 is coming up.

reply

No, they announced a Captain America 4 movie, not a second series. That announcement was made immediately after a negative reaction to the finale though, and nothing has been heard of it since. So who knows if it will actually happen.I think Marvel's slate is already full until the end of 2023, so it would come out at the earliest in 2024. I lot of things could change between now and then.

reply

Actually, one minute of googling told me that there's been no cancellation, just announcements of a season 2 from April of this year.

If there was a negative response from the fanboys to the finale, big deal. These shows are made for the massive worldwide mainstream, not a few grouchy fanboys.

reply

10 seconds of googling told me that there has been no season 2 announced. There was no "cancellation" because it is a miniseries. There was no season 2 ever on the cards. There was a movie announced, which seems to be getting you confused. But I already told you that in the previous post.

It is part of the standard playbook by studio suits to announce a sequel to do damage control when there is a negative news cycle. Exactly the same thing happened with Wonder Woman 84. It's not the way Marvel typically announce movies. And as I already pointed out, it would almost certainly not come out earlier than 2024. Remember all those movies that WB announced years ago? Me neither.

reply

Yes, that flashback was so great, one of the only good things coming out of it. Also liked Zemo when he was on screen. That's about it though =(

reply

you got a high (off the charts) tolerance for bullsh!t

reply

I do have a very low bullshit tolerance.

But unlike some around here I have a sense of humor, so I like the show.

reply

l like how you are using "sense of humor" as a reason for liking a series that is not primarily classified as comedy...

reply

So...classification as a drama means laughing is outlawed??Your reasoning is astounding.

reply

If by drama you mean sci-fi/fantasy/action then no. But why should a sense of humor be required to enjoy it?

reply

I literally never said that...

reply

So you have to have something classified as comedy before you know whether it's funny?

Well, that makes you a bit more self-aware than most people with zero sense of humor, most of them keep insisting "I DO have a sense of humor, but that wasn't funny!".

reply

that's not what I said and that's not what I meant..

reply

This is why I don't like reading any message boards while a show is in progress - because people will just sh*t all over anything I enjoy.

Meanwhile, the show has tremendous ratings on both Rotten Tomatoes and IMDb. But to listen to the people on here, it's the worst thing ever made.

Personally I think this show has been quite entertaining so far...

reply

episode three was so bad. I would call it The Army of the Dead of episodes. There are so many things wrong with it you can't even begin to list them.

reply

Oh? List them, please.

reply

it was annoying, stupid and boring..
I'm not going to watch this show anymore.. i love the MCU but this is too much..
