Owen Wilson

Who will he play???

That’s undoubtedly something many fans are wondering.

To quote Hollywood Reporter: His character details are hidden in Odin's vault. :)

It’s anyone’s guess, really. But wow, what an addition! Even though it shouldn’t be, him joining this universe is a bit surprising to me. I’m intrigued though. Would be cool if he has a major role.

Was never an Owen Wilson fan, but fingers crossed

Was I not paying attention or did they completely keep it under wraps he was in this?

I mean, if I knew everyone knew. I'm always the last to know.

I just saw this:

Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius

The first trailer of the miniseries shows Owen Wilson making his debut in the MCU as a character named Mobius M. Mobius. He is a middle management member of the Time Variation Authority (TVA). The character is based on Marvel comics writer and one-time editor Mark Gruenwald and was one of several cloned TVA management employees.

Prince Argon.

Captain Dicksnout?

Bruh... he looks awesome in the trailer. He unsurprisingly looks like he’s going to kill it as this TVA big wig! (As of course good ol’ Loki himself will.) Excited as hell

I like Wilson, but I dont think he belongs in a Loki show.

Because he'll want all the funnt lines for himself, while Loki should absolutely positively be the one to get all the laughs! What Loki really needs is a good straight man, and Owen Wilson is not that actor.

It worked well having Thor and Loki taking turns with the humor in Ragnarok, and I can see Wilson and Hiddleston having a similar dynamic together. Also, if you've seen Wilson's work with Wes Anderson you know he can be more subdued, and even serious, when need be.

reply

Actually, I thought Loki was rather sidelined in "Ragnarok", with Thor being a funny guy jnstead of the straight man.

Which was the only thing about that movie I didnt wholeheartedly adore.

Loki had enough spotlight in previous movies already, he didn't need to be a main part of Ragnarok.
The movie was about Thor and his journey, aided especially by Hulk and Valkyrie.
Loki had a chance at redemption and setup for his Infinity War role.
