Seems this show is another BBC production that got the PC treatment.

It has an awfully cheap look. Also, nuns with wooden stakes??? WTH?

It has the obligatory empowered tough women, now nuns (nuns!) handling wooden stakes as they were in a fucking martial arts movie, and the only courageous male character appearing in the teaser is, wait for it... guess it... yeap, black. In fucking XIXth century England.

The usual woke shit.

Really? I think i saw a different show. All the nuns were weak and feeble and the wooden stakes moment was mainly for laughs, a truly hilarious moment.

The first episode didn't give me any feminist vibe tbh. Have to see the rest.
