M'Baku

IMHO, this sequel is just average. But he is fantastic! Him calling Okoye a "bald headed demon" had people laughing out loud the most in both of my viewings of this movie so far. Love to see more of Winston Duke's M'Baku, he got my attention every time he was on screen. In my opinion, Winston Duke and Lupita Nyong'o are the two standouts in this movie, they are really great. Love to see more of these two in future MCU projects.

I have not seen the film yet, but I agree that Winston Duke is a terrific actor and stole every scene he was in in "Black Panther", Avengers Infinity War" and "Avengers Endgame".
I personally think that M'Baku should be the next Black Panther.

reply

He was in Infinity War and Avengers Endgame? I don't remember him in either film.

reply

He was in the big Wakanda army scenes. I don’t think he ever said anything though.

reply

He was definitely a standout. Shame he wasn't in the movie very much.

He was my first pick to be the new Black Panther once they announced they were not recasting T'Challa.

reply

He was most people's pick, but ya' know, gotta be girl power these days.

reply

Hopefully they set it up where going forward, M'Baku is king of Wakanda while Shuri handless the Panthering.

Loved the scene where he spots Namor and yells out, "Fish-Mon!" all excited about having someone new to fight.

He'll make a great Wakandan king, now that he's taken on a more big-brother role to Shuri and no longer outright rejects science and technology. The U.N. will think twice before trying to order him around.

I didn't mind Iron Heart, but I feel like she wasn't necessarily needed, the the only thing I'd change from the movie would be to swap her out for more M'Baku
