Clue
I liked this movie better when I saw it 30 years ago and it was called 'Clue'.
Try to outdo Tim Curry and this is what you get!
"I'VE been shot. I've been SHOT!"
Such indignation.

shareNothing like Clue. Did you see that movie, or are you just guessing at it? That one was just like the game... they actually filmed three different endings IIRC so as not to fully reveal the final details.
In fact, the worst part of the marketing for this movie was giving the impression that it was just some sort of movie like Clue.
It was more like Columbo, if you remember that series.
Nothing like Clue, huh? Nothing?? It was at least a little like Clue. C'mon dude. Knives Out was less goofy but that doesnt mean that it was absolutely nothing like it.
shareIf by 'little', you mean it had an ensemble cast, and a murder at its centre then -- sure -- it was like Clue.
Other than that, nope. (I don't want to give away too much more about the movie for those who haven't seen it. But, if you've seen it, you'll know what I mean.)
No one can outdo Tim Curry, period. But I don't mind this version of Clue - that's kinda what drew me to it in the first place.

shareI like Clue but I liked this too. Frankly TC, you make yourself sound like an old stubborn fool who always goes, "Things were so much better in my day!"
shareClue was funny in a campy way. This film didn't try for that much and wasn't all that funny most of the time.
