1st episode sucked
The lighting, sets and costumes were good. The acting, pacing and characters were not. It was exceptionally slow. The characters are unlikeable and wooden. The acting was bad, mainly due to the poor script. The story didn't develop the characters in a way that we would want to see them in a series.
The language was pretty off putting too. I get swearing and it's effectiveness. But this show's writers dont seem to understand how to make it work.
