Colman Domingo (the dude that plays Rue's drug sponsor) steals the show though. If they had Emmy awards for best acting in a single episode, he would easily take it for this one episode.
I have to check, I pirated the first two seasons and have been playing only the first. the episodes play one by one without me touching the remote so I miss the titles usually

Their kid versions were spot on. That's one thing I hate about movies and TV shows, when they have younger versions of someone that doesn't look anything like their old versions. It always irks me to no end.
The casting for the whole show was great though. Too bad covid hit and killed the show for the most part. It would be hard to do another season, now that all the actors are older. A book might be a good alternative. A book could pick up where the show ends.
Either way, I'd have to give both seasons combined a very solid 8.0 out of 10. It's good stuff, if you can handle the subject matter. lol...
