I feel like this was extremely 'Ok'... but just 'ok'. This show would be so much better if they didn't try to push trendy political correctness.
Still very bingable IMO!

Just finished it and quite enjoying it myself. Nice pop culture references, with humor and action. I have to agree, however, about the PC SJW hits here and there. However, in a number of instances for me it came off as making fun of the over-PC culture, not endorsing it. That's how I took it, anyway.
shareWhen the focus is on Josh, it's good. It feels very Disney/Nickelodeon -ish.
shareYeah fun and entertaining. It was best when it kept itself bordering on a surrealist comedy (Eli invading his flashbacks, anything with Me Crumble, Josh's playful ineptitude). Did like the twist at the end too. Solid c+ entry, would watch a season 2
shareTwist? You mean the Bran moment when the character who mattered the least all season suddenly seizes power?
shareYeah, very much that. There are some good moments mixed in with a fair bit of cringe (could've definitely excluded the pug at the start and the end), but it kind of wins you over with some of its characters and overall it's pretty bingeable. I really liked the witch more than anyone.
shareI think they poked fun at the woke/SJW/PC stuff a lot.
shareI couldn't get through the first episode, I don't think the show seemed that bad actually, it was just obviously made for teenagers, I couldn't get into it.
